Once your job ad is complete and ready to post, you can preview what it will look like to candidates before publishing it to the Field.
- Click on the ‘Preview’ button to review your job ad. If you need to edit or adjust any information, you can use the yellow progress bar at the top of the screen to access specific sections of your job ad. You can then edit the information as needed.
- To return to the ‘Preview and publish’ section, click through the numbered steps in the yellow panel until you are back on the ‘Preview and publish’ page.
When you are ready to publish your job ad, you can choose to publish it immediately or schedule it to publish at a later date/time.
- To publish your job ad straight away, click on the ‘Publish’ button. You will receive a prompt confirming whether you are ready to publish. Click ‘Confirm’ and your job ad will become live and appear to job seekers. A confirmation page will confirm that the job ad has been published successfully. From the confirmation page, you can preview the active job ad by clicking the ‘View active job’ button.
- To publish your job ad at a later date/time, you can add use the schedule tool to choose a date and time for the ad to publish and become live to candidates.
Whether you publish your job ad straight away or schedule it to be published at a later date, you will be required to select a closing date for the ad. A job ad can remain open to candidates for up to 3 months. Once closed, job seekers will not be able to access or apply for the role.
