Do I have to have a subscription bundle to be an Employer on the Field?
Yes. To be an inclusive Employer on the Field, you will need an active subscription bundle. This will allow you to post job ads, hire and manage candidates, and access the Learning and Job hubs.
Can I be registered on the Field without a subscription bundle?
Yes. You can register with the Field and create your Employer profile without an active subscription bundle. However, without a bundle your access to the Field is limited and you won’t be able to post jobs, hire candidates or access the Field’s Learning and Job hubs.
When do I have to have chosen a subscription bundle?
You will need to choose a subscription bundle for your organisation when the free trial period ends on February 28th 2023.
How do I know what bundle suits my organisation?
We have great bundle options for organisations of all sizes. A great way to decide between bundles is to understand how many jobs your organisation posts on average in a 12 month period, and choose a bundle that will meet those hiring needs. To be the most disability inclusive your organisation can be, we recommend posting all your open jobs on the Field.
What if I choose the wrong subscription bundle?
If you choose the wrong subscription bundle, you can upgrade or reduce your bundle to better suit your organisation. Alternatively, if you need support to adjust your bundle, you can get in touch with our Customer Support team, who can point you in the right direction.
Where can I find my current bundle details on the Field?
The ‘Subscription bundle’ area of your organisation’s account will have all the details of your current subscription bundle. This includes:
- The number of users remaining
- The number of job ads remaining
- The start and end dates of your current bundle
- The number of top up jobs remaining
If you’re the Employer Admin for your organisation’s account, you will also have options to buy additional job top ups and change/cancel your subscription bundle.
Can I cancel my subscription bundle?
You can cancel your subscription at any time. If you choose to cancel, it will come into effect at the end of your current billing cycle and will not auto-renew to a new billing period. You will be able to access your account on the Field until your current billing cycle has finished.
Who can manage my subscription bundle?
The Employer Admin for your organisation’s subscription can change and manage your company’s subscription bundle. They can also change the billing details for your organisation.
Do Job Seekers need to buy a subscription bundle?
No, subscription bundles are only for Employers. The Field is free and will remain free to Job seekers with disability, without the need for a subscription bundle.

You can upgrade your subscription bundle at any time, including when you’re on your free trial. Any time you upgrade, it will come into effect immediately and begin a new billing period of 12 months. There are a few other things to know:
- Free trial: if you upgrade on your free trial:
- Your free trial will end, and your organisation will roll over to a paid subscription
- The cost of your new bundle will be debited from your credit card or invoiced
- Any un-posted job ads from your free trial will expire
- Your open job ads will be unaffected – they’ll stay open, and you can manage any candidates that apply.

- Unused jobs from your previous smaller bundle will roll over to your new subscription bundle, so you won’t lose them!
- The cost of your new bundle will be debited from your credit card or invoiced
- Your open job ads will be unaffected – they’ll stay open, and you can manage any candidates that apply.
Can I reduce my subscription bundle?
You can reduce your bundle at any time, including when you’re on your free trial. There are a few things to know:

- Your smaller bundle will begin immediately
- Your free trial will end, and your organisation will roll over to a paid subscription

- If your smaller bundle has fewer users that your previous one, users over the limit will be deactivated
- Your open job ads will be unaffected – they’ll stay open, and you can manage any candidates that apply. However, if you have more job ads open than your smaller bundle allows, you will need to buy top ups to post new jobs before your new billing period
- All unused top ups will be available in your smaller subscription.
- Paid subscription: if you downgrade on your paid subscription:
- You subscription bundle will come into effect at the end of your 12-month billing period. You can keep using your current bundle until the new one comes into effect
- The cost of your new bundle will be debited from your credit card or invoiced
- If your smaller bundle has fewer users that your previous one, users over the limit will be deactivated
- Your open job ads will be unaffected – they’ll stay open, and you can manage any candidates that apply. However, if you have more job ads open than your smaller bundle allows, you will need to buy top ups to post new jobs before your new billing period
- All unused top ups will be available in your smaller subscription.
Can I get more jobs for my bundle if I run out?

Can I get more users for my bundle if I run out?
No, the number of users is specific to the bundle you choose. If you need more users for your organisation, you will need to upgrade your bundle. If you’re on an Enterprise bundle, have a chat with our friendly sales team (sales@thefield.jobs) to see what’s possible.
Can I get more users for my bundle if I don’t use as many jobs?
No, the jobs and user numbers for each bundle are set and can’t be traded. If you need more users for your organisation, you will need to upgrade your bundle. You can always add more jobs to your company account using top ups.

How do I get a not-for-profit discount?
The not-for-profit discount is available for all businesses on the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profits Commission Charity Register. If you tick yes to applying a not-for-profit discount, our site will automatically run your registered ABN against the ACNC Charity Register and apply the discount.

What is the difference between an Employer Admin and a Billing Contact?
The person who first registers your organisation on the Field becomes the Employer Admin for your company account. This person has full user permissions, is responsible for the Employer profile, can access and manage all jobs and can edit a subscription bundle. The Billing Contact is the person responsible for the payment of your subscription bundle. They would normally be the person nominated on the credit card or invoice payment. Your Employer Admin and Billing Contact can be the same person.
How can I pay for my subscription bundle?
For all bundles, you have the option to pay by credit card. For the Grandstand, Stadium and Access all areas subscription bundles, you also have the option to pay by invoice.
What happens if I send the summary of my bundle to a teammate for payment?
To make paying for your bundle as quick and easy as possible, you have the option to send a summary of your chosen bundle to another person for approval. That person will receive an email from the Field with your bundle details and an option to finalise the payment.
How do I pay for a new subscription bundle when the previous one expires?
Your bundle will automatically roll over to a new 12-month billing period, so unless you need to change your bundle or your billing information, you won’t need to do anything! If you need to update your information, you can do that in the ‘Account details’ section of your company profile.
Can I get a refund on my subscription bundle?
No. We don’t offer refunds for subscription bundles. You can cancel your bundle at any time, and the cancellation will come into effect at the end of your 12-month billing period.
