The Job hub on the Field is where you can access and manage your saved jobs, job applications, and job matches.
Saved jobs
the Field allows you to save jobs so you can come back to them later. When you save a job ad, it will appear in your Job hub under “Saved jobs”.
You can save a job from two different areas:
- Search results.
When you have searched for a job, you can save individual jobs directly from these results, by clicking “save” in the right hand corner of the ad. - Individual job ad.
When you click into an individual job ad, there is an option to save the job at the top of the page.
You can remove saved jobs by re-clicking on the save job button from either of the above areas, or in the Saved jobs area of your Job hub.
Applications
When you start an application for a job on the Field, it will be listed in your Job hub under “Applications”.
Here, you can access key information including the job title, job details (including company name), and closing date. What you can do from your application list depends on the status of the application:
1. Draft
If your application is in draft status, you will be able to:
- Access the application
- Edit the application
- Delete the application
Note: You can submit your job application to an employer by going into the application itself.
2. Applied
Once your application has been sent, you will see the status “applied” and you will be able to:
- Withdraw the application.
This will remove your application from the employer’s list of applicants, and you won’t be considered for the role anymore. - Access/review your application.
Note: Once you have applied for a job, you can no longer edit your application.
3. Closed
When an application status is “closed”, either the employer is no longer receiving applications, or the job closing date has passed. From this state, you won’t be able to edit or send your application. You can:
- Access/review the application.
4. Withdrawn
You have withdrawn your job application from consideration. You can:
- Access/review the application.
Note: If you decide to withdraw your application, you still have the option to reapply if you change your mind. You will need to do this directly from the job ad, where at the top of the ad you will find the “reapply” option. You new application will still include the information you added into your initial application for the role. Eg, if you had answered questions in your first job application for a role, withdraw the application and reapply, the original question answers will appear in your new application. You can always edit or re-do them if you'd like.
5. Expired
Your job application was in draft but the job has been filled or the job closing date has passed. You won't be able to edit an expired job application.
- Access/review the application
Matches
the Field uses AI technology to match you to jobs posted by the Field's inclusive employers. By including information in your profile about your job preferences, accessibility preferences and skills, our AI can better find job matches that meet your needs. Job matches are displayed in the “matches” area of your Job hub.
